BIO
Adonis Galvão is a Portuguese-Brazilian visual artist graduated in Communication in Rio de Janeiro and Design in São Paulo, Brazil.
From his work with the creation of visual identities for the artistic environment, he came to attend art studios, initially as a model and then is dedicated to studying painting.
Indigenous ancestry was decisive for its research of the transience of beings between nature and the urban environment. His work proposes the debate of the spaces of real or imaginary existence, using painting and installations.
Recently, he held the individual exhibitions “Borogodó” (2023) and “Sugarcane Flower” (2024) on Madeira Island. In 2024, he participated in the collective exhibitions “Multitopias” at Sesc Nova Friburgo-Rio de Janeiro/Brazil, “Fractal” on Madeira Island/Portugal and "LA NATURA CHE PARLA" in Turin/Italy.
Adonis Galvão lives and works on Madeira Island in Portugal.
